They clearly need to remake this episode. It aired in 2001 (and covers content from the manga from 2000) but 6 years later Mythbusters busted the myth that bulls care about red targets. Obviously everything else in the entire series is scientifically perfect so Oda needs to adjust this.

Oda doesn't have to do squat. You keep things in their original format so you can see where you've come from, it's how you learn. What CAN be done is to take that info into account and use it accordingly in the future. The answer isn't to erase over stuff as if it never was, for those that don't honor and respect the past are doomed to repeat it.

It was clearly a joke. I pointed out that everything else in the series is scientifically perfect when talking about a series where the MC can stretch his limbs like rubber, there are characters that have magical powers where they can turn things into wax, they can be chopped up and reassembled, etc.

This isn't a series where scientific accuracy matters, so Oda getting that wrong doesn't matter.
